Ultra Q (1966) (Often described as the Japanese Twilight Zone or Twilight Zone with kaiju, this is technically where it all starts. No Ultraman to be found here but still absolutely a worthwhile watch, especially since kaiju from here are often reoccuring in Ultraman. Can be found in its original black and white here or colourised here.)
The Father of Ultra Q (This is Akio Jissoji's documentary on the production of Ultra Q and interview with Eiji Tsuburaya. Can be found unsubbed here.)
Ultraman (1966)
[MANGA] Daiji Kazumine's Ultraman (This is a manga that ran in Bokura from late '66 to '67. What's interesting about it is that it has stories based on unused scripts from the original series with new monsters. A ZIP file for it untranslated can be found here.)
[MANGA] Kazuo Umezu's Ultraman (This, on the other hand, ran in Weekly Shonen Magazine and puts Ultraman through a horror-focused lens that only the ''god of horror manga'' could do. It's interesting to see what a gekiga-type mangaka does to the world of Ultraman, which you can obtain in the same way as above here.)
The Birth of Ultraman (Ultraman's pilot, originally a stage show edited into an episode-like thing. Can be found subbed here)
Ultraseven (1967)
[MANGA] Jiro Kuwata's Ultraseven (This is another manga that ran concurrently with the show. It depicts Ultraseven with the pupils often seen in fanart. It can be looked at untranslated here or downloaded from here.)
Ultraman, UltraSeven: Great Violent Monster Fight (1969) (This can be watched here. This is our first ''movie'' so to speak)
Ultra Fight (1970) (This is a low budget fight scenes from 'Man/Seven comp commentated like it's a boxing match by a real boxing commentator of the time)
Return of Ultraman (1971)
Ultraman Ace (1972)
Ultraman Taro (1973)
Redman (1973) (This is a 5 minute per episode show where a human sized figure murders TsuPro kaiju in cold blood, you can watch most of it here)
The 6 Ultra Brothers vs. the Monster Army (1974 or 79 in Japan) (TsuPro have kinda disowned this movie and regard it as non canon because of the Chaiyo legal troubles but I think it's worth mentioning as it is historically a co-prodution, it can be found in its 1974 Thai version here or its 1979 Japanese version here. )
Ultraman Leo (1975)
Mamoru Uchiyama's Ultraman Leo This is a manga adaption of Ultraman Leo that would evolve to become The Ultraman.)
[MANGA] The Ultraman (1975) (This is a manga made by Mamoru Uchiyama that continues on from his Leo manga. It's about Zoffy, Melos and the Ultra Brotherst taking care of kaiju business on the Land of Light and Earth. It's unfortunately very difficult to find this translated anywhere, but Viz did release the Jackal arc for it long ago, which can be found here )
The Ultraman (1979) (This is a Sunrise produced anime that takes place on a different Earth with a different planet for the Ultras to M78 called U40)
Ultraman: Great Monster Decisive Battle (1979) (This is basically a compilation movie and run over of the Ultras so far but it does feature live action Joneus for the first time. You can watch the first 7 minutes here or the entire RAW here.)
[MANGA] Ultra Brothers Story (1979- early 80s) (This is a comic strip done by Tetsuji Kataoka that ran in CoroCoro following The Ultraman confusingly titled similar to other CoroCoro titles done by Mitsuru Hiruta and Noboru Sakaoka. It provides an interesting look at early lore development and is the source of the Jack drinking panels you might've seen before. This can be looked at in all its non-translated glory here)
[NEW] Akio Jissoji's Ultraman (1979) (This is a Jissoji-direct compilation movie of the original series. I believe new music and footage is added to this. It can be downloaded here thanks to a kind user who has uploaded these hidden specials for us to see letting me know they've done so.)
Ultraman 80
[MANGA] Ultra Super Legends (1981) (I'm using this section to emcompass all Andro Melos manga which ran from 1981 to 1983. If you wanna learn more, check out the ''magazine development'' section of this article. This is definitely something you're not gonna find translated.)
Andro Melos (1983) (This is an Ultra-adjacent mini series about Andro Super Warriors fighting the Gua Empire. Inspired by the Uchiyama manga IIRC, comic Melos and live action Melos are 2 different things. Zoffy and Seven appear in the prequel magazine for this version, but not in the show itself. Can be found unsubbed here.)
Ultraman Zoffy: Ultra Warriors vs. the Giant Monster Army (1984) (Speaking of Zoffy, this is another stock footage movie that shows off the Land of Light's appearances pre-'84 and gives information about the kaiju. It's also where Ultraman Jack gets his name. Can be watched unsubbed here)
Ultraman Kids M78 Star's Happy Friend (or Ultraman Kids: M7.8 Sei no Yukai na Nakama (This is a short anime movie that showed alongside Ultraman Zoffy that resulted in its own series later on. Can be watched with auto translation here.)
Ultraman Story (This is a movie about young Taro and links with Andro Melos by having one of its villains feature heavily in it)
Ultraman Kids' Proverb Stories / no Kotowaza Monogatari (1986) (This is an educational anime series in the Ultraman Kids style, it's very hard to find info on it and not the other Kids anime but there's a clip available here)
Ultraman: The Adventure Begins / Ultraman USA (1987) (This is another animated movie entry, the Ultras here are from a different planet too but one located in Nebula M78. It was co-produced by Hanna Barbara of Scooby Doo fame.)
The Men Who Made Ultraman (1989) (This is a documetary movie based on making 1966 Ultraman from the perspective of Akio Jissoji, not exactly an Ultra thing as much as a thing about Ultra and toku production but very interesting nonetheless. You can watch it subbed here)
Ultraman Graffiti: Wild! Ultra Country (This is an OVA about Ultraman as a salaryman. You can find this unsubbed here or subbed here.)
Ultra Q The Movie: Legend of the Stars (1990) (This is noteworthy for being directed by Akio Jissoji, one of Ultraman's most recognised directors, and for being relatively buried by TsuPro. You can watch it subbed here.)
Ultraman Kids no Shouboutai (This is a short fire safety PSA by the Ultra kids, basically impossible to find even if you search its Japanese title. I think it might be related to this DVD here)
Ultraman Kids: 30 Million Light Years In Search of Mother/Haha wo Tazunete 3000-man (1991) (Following M78 Star's Happy Friend and Proverb Stories, this is a 26 episode anime. This one surprisingly has an official release)
Ultraman's Shuwatch! Space Exploration (This was a short OVD released in 1992 for the International Space Year, you won't really find any info on this unless you search for it in Japanese. There's no footage of this whatsoever from what I can find since it seems like it was used in schools but it was about 30 minutes and you learned about satelites, rockets and space in it.)
Ultraman's TV Game Adventure (This is another educational video made for the Science and Tech Society. This one does have footage but it's not subbed)
From 1993-1996 a series called Ultraman M715 and later M730 aired, called so after their broadcast times. You're pretty much not gonna find much about this online apart from searching its Japanese title but they're essentially narrated clipshows that go over the story of the Ultraman shows so far, rating their fights out of 10, their/the kaiju's moves etc
Ultraseven That I Loved (1993) (This was a TV drama that is a semi-documentary about how Ultraseven was produced with its own embellishments and dramaticisations to keep things juicy. This can be found in parts here, here and here or in better quality over here at the kind RAW provider's source.)
Ultraman VS Kamen Rider (1993) (This is a TV special made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Ultraman and 20th anniversary of Kamen Rider. It consists of clips from both shows and comparisons between the 2 in terms of attacks/military vehicles/motorbikes/kaiju and kaijin, interviews with Susumu Korobe and Hiroshi Fujioka and, perhaps the part most fans would wanna see, the short movie of the two working together, which you can watch subbed here.)
The Man Who Wanted to Be Ultraman: The Impressive Drama of a Man Fascinated by Monsters (1993) is similarly a TV special that didn't make it out of the VHS era....until now! You can view a clip of it here and here and read its synopsis here but you can also download it here here unsubbed
Ultraman: Ultraman: Towards the Future / Ultraman Great (1993) (This is our first Heisei produced series and the first proper show since Andro Melos (and the first Ultra show since 80). This show was produced in Australia and had a short lived western toy line as well as odd media releases. The show itself was short lived with only 13 episodes)
[MANGA] Ultraman G (This is an adaption of Ultraman Great, it can be read here.)
[COMIC] Ultraman (1993-1994) (This is an American comic loose adaptation and continuation of Great. The issues found here I believe came out before the show whereas these ones are after and interestingly mix up Great with Powered. They also make themselves and Great as a result a sequel to the original show for some strange reason.)
[MANGA] Ultraman: Super Fighter Legend (1993-1997) (This is a manga adaption of the Super Fighter Legend gashapon toys. Like many Ultraman manga and books in particular, this one would be difficult to find in English. You can see the Kanzenban covers for it here.)
Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero / Ultraman Powered (1994) (This is another foreign produced (America specifically) Ultra show with a short amount of episodes. This show is unique in that Powered's eyes are blue rather than yellow/orange and turn red when his Color Timer is low.)
Ultra Super Fight (1994) (This is a comedic version of Ultra Fight. You can find some of it here.)
Ultraman Neos Pilot Version (1995) (This is a pilot of Ultraman Neos. To learn more about it, check out this useful video here.)
Ultraman Zearth: Parody Chapter (1996) (This is a comedy skit that aired before the first Zearth movie came out and is basically a parody of a parody. You can watch it unsubbed here.)
Ultraman Zearth (1996)
Revive!! Ultraman (1996) (Made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ultraman, this movie is basically an epilogue to the original where Ultraman comes back for one more fight. Most of this is comprised of stock footage, You can watch it subbed here.)
Ultraman M730: Ultraman Land / Ultra P (1996) (A puppet show made by the Godziban people depicting Ultras and kaiju who live in the theme park Ultraman Land. Can be seen here.)
Ultraman Company: This is the Urukan Special Investigation Team! / Kochira Ulkan Tokuso-tai de-su! (1996) (This is a short that showed alongside Zearth and Revive! Ultraman. It looks like this and both this blog and this image give you a good summary of it. You can now also find this here )
Heisei Ultraseven NTV Specials (Episodes 1 and 2 can be found here and here.)
Ultraman Tiga (1996)

Ulbara M78 (2002) (Now this one is fascinating, basically before Ultraman Boy we had Pict, an Ultra of preschool age. His show is unfortunately the closest Ultra seems to have to lost media as it ran on 1 specific station on a specific, expensive, ahead of its time streaming TV box. You can learn more here.)
Ultraman Tiga (4Kids Dub) (This is an English language dub made to localise Tiga to western audiences produced by 4Kids. This dub changed OSTs, sound effects, names, tone and added comedic dialogue when there wasn't originally any. Only 23 of its 52 episodes aired, though it's believe the rest aired in India.)

[MANGA] Ultraman THE FIRST (2003) (This is a diverging retelling and reimagining of Ultraman '66. It lasted 3 volumes. [READING] Ultraman Nexus TV COMPLETE DVD-BOX: Second Coming - Dreams (This is a short novel included in the DVD-Box released in 2012 but I'm putting it here for ease of access with other Nexus related media. It is about Komon and Nagi fighting Dark Lucifer by transforming into Noa. I believe it is translated here but you can also read a somewhat scuffed summary here if you scroll down.)
